PowerCare: Cognitive power electronics with 
AI-supported GaN power electronics for efficient and safe motor drives
The Fraunhofer-funded PowerCare project is developing a new generation of intelligent power electronics for industrial drives and mobility applications. By using innovative vertical gallium nitride (GaN) power semiconductors in combination with embedded AI, PowerCare enables energy-efficient, compact, and fail-safe motor controls with integrated real-time monitoring.
